The Mercado de San Miguel, Mercat de la Barceloneta, and the Mercat St. Josep are three special supermarkets. They offer a huge selection of fruits, vegetables, meats, seafood, prepared foods, and candy. The first is in Madrid; the other two in Barcelona.

La Rambla (the name means "boulevard") is one of the main drags in Barcelona with a wide median filled with shops and stands of diverse kinds which forms a large outdoor mall. Along this mall are also mimes who come to life when a monetary donation is made. All this on one street!
